I hope our families and staff had a restful break. January marks a particularly important stretch in the school year. With routines now firmly established and fewer interruptions on the calendar, this is one of the most productive times for deep learning. At Edmonds, we believe every day is an opportunity to learn new things and strengthen skills. Thank you for your ongoing partnership and dedication to our school community. I look forward to seeing what our students will accomplish in this new year. Continue reading here:Â January-April Newsletter

Families are reminded that electric scooters are not permitted for use on public roads in Burnaby, as the city is not part of BCâs electric kick scooter pilot project. This means students should not ride or store e-scooters at school. In communities that are part of the pilot, riders must be at least 16 years old, but Burnaby currently has no designated areas for e-scooter use.
For full details, please read the letter Important Information Regarding EScooters and visit the ICBC and Government of BC websites for more information on e-scooter rules and safety.
